Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in the city of St. Louis in Missouri. She performed with The Muny Opera. She received her cumlaude degree from The University of Missouri Columbia with a BA in Communications and Theatre. After moving to Los Angeles she quickly got involved in acting for theater and choreographing in over 2 dozen musicals and plays including The Little Foxes Brady Bunch: The Musical Peter Pan at the Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera as well as 7 lead roles at LA's award-winning Storybook Theatre. Kelly began landing TV and film roles as she learned improvisation, and later became an Theatre West company member. The voice of her and diminutive stature that have made her able to tackle a number of diverse characters. The most famous character she has played is Naomi Watts's scheming Samara from The Ring 2, but her best-known character is as the fun receptionist on Two and a Half Men. Kelly was a character on a regular Series on TV Land's The Exes which she played an ex-party-goer and a paralegal throughout the time of the day. Kelly also appeared in the role of Alyssa's smart, sassy sister in the ABC show Romantically Challenged and as the worried suburban mom on the CW show No Tomorrow. She's lent her soprano singing voice to a variety of cartoons such as Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry and Sofia the First. Most recently she can be seen as the dim but lovable Cloud 9 employee on NBC's popular comedy Superstore. The couple has two children and lives in a quiet house. She loves to write or sew as well as volunteer at school.
